Sleep Support FAQ's
Frequently Asked Questions

-
Why might parents seek infant sleep consulting services?
-
Books and articles can be very helpful sleep tools, but having a professional sleep consultant to talk with is much more personalized. Talking specifics about your child, and creating a custom plan that works for your family could be the difference between getting better sleep after a few nights vs it taking months to see any changes.

How do I know if my baby has a sleep problem?
-
Signs of a sleep problem in babies may include frequent night waking, difficulty settling to sleep, short naps, or inconsistent sleep patterns.

-
How long does it typically take to see improvements in my baby's sleep with consulting services?
-
Like with everything else, every baby is a little different in how they respond to sleep training. Based on the package that is purchased, my support typically lasts 1-2 weeks. During that time, I will troubleshoot, encourage you, and make changes to your baby sleep plan as needed.

-
Is it possible to consult remotely, or do you only offer in-person services?
-
Yes. Wildflower Dreams Sleep Consulting offers remote consultations via phone, video calls, or email, providing convenient access to support regardless of location.
-
-
What are the benefits of hiring a sleep consultant versus trying to solve sleep issues on my own?
-
Hiring a sleep consultant offers personalized guidance, support, and expertise tailored to your baby's unique needs, increasing the likelihood of successful outcomes and reducing stress for parents.

How much crying is involved in your process?
-
I know hearing your baby cry isn't anyone’s idea of fun. Some tears are expected and completely normal, crying is your baby’s only form of communication right now. I will work diligently with you to keep it to a minimum. Change is hard. Learning new things is hard. And your baby may get frustrated through this process. We will work together to make a plan that is in your comfort range!
